She doesn't trust me.
And I know why; I am hate, Anger, Angst, Rage; Everything she's not. So why does she keep me? Why does she let me stay? Why does she say she needs me and loves me? Filling my head with words like: 'There's no one else like you.' How can she think, That she can keep me so close, And not tell me things. But in the end, I am the one to blame. I don't listen, I don't see, I don't sense. 'So close yet so far' I am right there next to her, And I can not see What is right there in front of me. You would think, I would learn, After all these years. When did I become so blind? We are Together; Together in Pieces. |
